This weekend, along w/ enjoying the lovely summer-like weather, we had a wedding consultation for a August bride and 4 birthday parties.

One of our fave things to do is meet with customers who want customized desserts. One of our customers asked for a minnie cupcake w/ pink bows for a bday party over the weekend.

CTTC Cupcake Meetup - Frosting and Shopping at Re/Dress

Cupcakes Take the Cake and the Cupcake Meetup are having yet another great meetup event taking place tomorrow, Thursday, April 23 from 7-9pm at Re/Dress, a vintage and resale store in Brooklyn's Boerum Hill neighborhood, owned by Deb Malkin . LuxSugar will be providing the goodies - the theme is a girly girl shopping night, so the Lux cupcakes will be pink!

Per the Meetup Description:

Combining the love of cupcakes with vintage shopping, Cupcakes Take The Cake is having a shopping night at Re/Dress, a vintage and resale store in Brooklyn's Boerum Hill neighborhood.
Get ready to do some spring shopping and mingling with other cupcake lovers.

Last week a good friend of ours, the author, O'Brien Dennis was a guest on the Wendy Williams Experience Show on WBLS -107.5. Dennis was promoting his book "The Cries of Men" and bought some Lux goodies to Wendy.

Hi Luxies: Sorry we've been MIA. We've been busy in the kitchen churning out bday cakes and bday cupcakes over the past 2 weeks.

Spring has Sprung

Yayy Luxies! Spring time is finally here.
The Lux Girls have been coming up with new and exciting flavors and one such creation is called the Lux Lamington. Shari, our pastry chef and creative director describes it as:
Butter Cake dipped in chocolate and rolled in coconut. It's as delicious as it sounds!!!

It will be available for the first time this weekend at Boulevard, so make sure you stop by and try it out!
